Stage Probability

The Stage Probability field, is a READ-ONLY field that comes directly from the CRM system. In most CRM systems (including HubSpot), this probability weighting is set at Pipeline Stage level and cannot be adjusted at a deal/opportunity level.

Forecast Weighting

The Forecast Weighting probability is the weighting applied to deals in the QuarterOne Forecast and Charts.

The Forecast Weighting field is an EDITABLE field that allows users to apply discrete/manual probability weighting to each deal in their sales pipeline. Unlike the Stage Probability weighting, it is not tied to particular Pipeline Stages.

Editing the Forecast Weighting (Applying an Override)

When a new deal is first imported into QuarterOne, the Forecast Weighting field is initially set as the same percentage as the Stage Probability. After the initial import, users can override probability weighting to any percentage they wish, by either double clicking on the cell or activating Edit Mode.

Once the Forecast Weighting has been manually adjusted (Overriden) it will appear in bold - see image below

NB once the Forecast Weighting has been manually adjusted, the overridden percentage will persist going forward until the deal become Closed Won.

Removing the Forecast Weighting Override

The manually adjusted Forecast Weighting can be removed by right-clicking the percentage and selecting "Remove Override" for the options list - see image below
